Bill Conlon is an accomplished engineer with experience in energy systems, electric power and cogeneration, systems optimization, real-time controls, telecommunications and software. He has broad technical competence, demonstrated by publications and patents in multiple disciplines, and is comfortable in both corporations and startups. An experienced manager of people and projects, and recognized for leadership and communication skills, Bill is a degreed Nuclear Engineer and a licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical) in the State of California.

- Conceive, develop, and prepare strategy and proposals for demonstrating utility scale Concentrated Solar Power Systems
- Systems engineering, software architecture and project management for embedded software, including telecom, encryption and instrumentation projects.
- Directed design, implementation and deployment of dozens of web applications and web sites, in collaboration with To the Point.
- Successfully proposed and completed SBIR research grants for NASA and EPA, helping to advance Directional Freeze Crystallization technology for water and wastewater treatment.
- Developed and patented CrystallixTM process for drinking water treatment by crystallization and managed design of innovative consumer point-of-use drinking water appliances.
- Technical and project management of compact, factory-built cogeneration power plants (Cheng Cycle Series 5) for office buildings, hospitals, and prisons.
- Developed control system for first commercial Cheng Cycle Series 7 power plants, now having more than 1 million hours of world-wide operating experience.
- Technical review of simulation models, software, documentation and acceptance test procedures for nuclear power plant control room simulator.
- Designed, developed, installed & commissioned a large thermal-hydraulic test facility (RPI Freon Loop) for nuclear reactor safety research in two-phase flow and heat transfer.
- Designed, built, and tested 128 channel data acquisition system, including analog filters, multiplexers, and real-time assembly language software.
