Since the Espresso Garden closed, we’ve been short of acoustic music. We finally got up to Don Quixote’s in Felton last night for a Fiddling Cricket sponsored show: Way Out West. We had never heard them together, but being big fans of Joe, we had to go. This was a reunion of Joe Craven, Tracy Walton, and Bill Edward. Unfortunately Joe had laryngitis, so his manic music making was confined to mandolin; he brought his son on-stage for sound effects. Very fun show. I bought a CD.
